Project: Green Ribbon Political Awards rebrand

As part of CIWEM's (Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management) relaunch of The Green Ribbon Political Awards, a high-profile international accolade awarded to politicians, businesses and NGOs for their environmental achievements, Proteus was commissioned to create a fresh identity and reinvigorate the brand. The awards ceremony is held at the House of Commons, with recipients including HRH The Prince of Wales and Chris Packham, among other environmentally active parliamentarians.

Project: Training centers app

Stryker are one of the world’s leading medical technology companies, working with their Orthopaedics division, we designed and developed an app for their training centres, located throughout the UK and Europe. Prior to the app, we created a new identity for the centres, the project also required the creation of a new brand name to unify the sites, which previously went under a variety of names and identities.

Spacemetric is a leading solution provider for digital geospatial imagery. The company required a strong graphic identity as a focal concept to convey its extensive satellite image catalogue and technological products. The identity focused on the grid structure implied within the brand name and the structure of satellite mapping. The mark's star-like form also reflects the outer-space technology, while its convex shape provides a simple visual metaphor to represent the zoom-in detail of satellite scans.

UK and Europe-wide specialist consultants in energy, utilities and finance, Baringa Partners rank in the top three for the sixth year by the Great Place to Work® Institute. We were commissioned to develop the Baringa brand, creating a strong graphic identity to unify communications across a suite of marketing material.

Project: Deep Blue DMS software

Deep Blue provide class-leading dealer management systems and solutions to the automotive, marine and retail sectors. Proteus was commissioned to create a corporate identity along with brand and packaging designs for their software solutions products. Taking inspiration from the nautical theme, we designed a logo in the form of a barrel wave by integrating the brand's initials. The nautical theme is continued through the use of graphic waves, the computer generated contour lines of which conveying a technological theme. A clean sans-serif typeface was chosen for the logotype and all secondary typographic applications.

Through the creation of a custom typeface and a fresh colour palette, the logotype solution is reflective of the unique position that Creonova occupy in their market.

They identify all areas of vulnerability and determine suitable countermeasures, helping clients to visualise and improve their understanding and control of risk. Proteus created a visual identity for iRisk and developed their content-rich web presence reinforcing the brand.

Project: Annual Report and Review

Sovereign Housing are the largest housing association in the south and south west of England, providing over 36,000 homes. Working in over 60 local authority areas and employing over 1,000 people offering a wide range of homes from affordable rent to outright sale. Following the creation of a new identity for Sovereign Housing, we designed their annual report and review. This important printed communication item was key in establishing the new identity with stakeholders and other interested parties.

Established on 1962, Sutton Automotive are one of the UK’s leading suppliers in automotive spares. Sutton Automotive required a updated identity that would also unify their operations. Our solution was to develop a logotype and separate mark, or logo, that could adapt depending on the type of application. The ‘S’ logo created is a versatile graphic device that can be stencilled directly onto surfaces, fabricated from metal or applied as vinyl, along with standard uses within conventional marketing material.

In 1993, Fitness First opened its first club in Bournemouth. Today they have clubs in 16 different countries, making them one of the leaders in the global fitness industry. The group magazine consists of club highlights, latest developments and inspirational stories from staff and members. Eight.6 Degrees and its visual language plays an important part in the development of the new identity and works as an effective employee engagement tool for the group globally.

The website functions as cloud site for their products allowing users to access, download and trial Deep Blue’s DMS software. The site was built using a Content Management System (CMS), providing Deep Blue complete control over all content.
